An Electronic Money Institute (EMI) license in Sweden is available for sale.

This EMI obtained its license in 2019 and is regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA – Finansinspektionen) in Sweden.

The Swedish EMI for sale has the following:

• Segregated bank accounts with Nordea Bank in Stockholm
• 7 employees and the majority could stay on after the change of ownership

Upon the change of ownership, a copy of the MC agreement will be provided for card issuance and also includes marketing contributions from the MC.

The EMI has developed iOS and Android applications which can be included as part of the deal. The current client portfolio does not come with the change of ownership but can be sold separately for a price if necessary.

Shell software is available at an extra cost along with core banking software and Centrolink set-up.

The takeover can be immediate, and the Swedish FSA approves the change in ownership in approximately 2 months.
