EN#0242 – Australian Corporate Group for sale

An Australian Corporate Group, providing cross-border payments and FX services with head office in Sydney, is now available for sale.  

The Corporate Group includes 4 entities: 

• An entity that holds an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL), 
• Two entities registered with AUSTRAC as independent remittance provider and digital currency exchange provider, 
• A service company. 

The potential acquirer of this Corporate Group for sale will take over the company’s merchants/clients, all existing IT infrastructure and all the material contracts with key service providers. 

The authorisation of the AFSL allows the licensee to carry on a financial services business to: 

• Provide general financial product advice for the following classes of financial products, 
• Deal in a financial product by issuing, applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product in respect of: 
  • deposit and payment products limited to non-cash payment products and foreign exchange contracts, 
• Deal in a financial product by applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product on behalf of another person in respect of: 
  • deposit and payment products limited to non-cash payment products and foreign exchange contracts, 
• Make a market for foreign exchange contracts to retails and wholesale clients. 

Partners with banks will be disclosed under appropriate confidentiality agreements. 

The transaction amount facilitated in 2023, exceeded 230 million AUD and the asking price for this Corporate Group is above 4 million AUD.
