SALVUS secures another Canadian MSB registration with FINTRAC

SALVUS is pleased to announce the successful completion of another Canadian Money Services Business (MSB) registration with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC).

The approval was granted within approximately 4.5 months from the initial submission, reflecting the importance of a well-structured, complete, and properly prepared application.

The SALVUS Licensing Team supported the client throughout the full process, from company incorporation through to the successful completion of the FINTRAC MSB registration. Our work included assisting with the structuring of the application, gathering and reviewing corporate, ownership and compliance documentation, and ensuring that the submission was prepared in a clear and complete manner before filing.

A key part of SALVUS’ approach is to help minimise delays and follow-up requests by working closely with clients from the outset. This includes preparing common FINTRAC information requests, such as lease agreements, proof of office presence, ownership documents, and supplementary questionnaires.
