EN#0378 – European MiCA-authorized CASP, operational, strategic platform investment
SALVUS has been engaged under mandate in relation to a strategic investment opportunity involving an established, operational European crypto-asset service provider authorized under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
The company pairs a regulated platform with experienced crypto-native management, live investment products and a multi-year operational track record. The opportunity is intended as a strategic partnership, not a passive minority stake or a standalone license acquisition. The successful investor would gain access to an operating, MiCA-authorized platform positioned to support the expansion of regulated crypto-asset services across the EU and EEA.
Highlights:
- Regulated and operational: Authorized as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider under MiCA and supervised by a competent EU financial supervisory authority, with EU/EEA passporting potential. The platform is live, with management, compliance, risk-management and client-operations functions already in place.
- Proven track record: More than five years of continuous operation through multiple market cycles, exchange failures and periods of market stress, with no client funds lost to investment or infrastructure failure. A record of this length is uncommon among crypto-asset firms.
- Experienced team: A crypto-native management team with institutional operating discipline, spanning investment management, trading, risk, compliance and operations.
- Live products: Two established investment strategies covering different points of the risk spectrum, from lower-risk yield to actively managed growth, each with a multi-year performance history.
- Growth trajectory: Assets under management are modest today but on a clear upward trend, on a platform built to scale through distribution and partnership.
- Transaction structure: The opportunity may be structured as a strategic equity investment with governance rights and a shared growth strategy or as a broader combination involving the platform, team, distribution and capital.
