The SALVUS Mergers & Acquisitions team has successfully navigated another acquisition of a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) licensed entity for sale*. Specifically, the M&A team at SALVUS led this project between the buyer and seller of an Authorised Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in the UK.

The successful acquisition of this Authorised EMI in the UK comes after a series of similar success stories. SALVUS has a dedicated M&A team of experts specialising in successfully facilitating the buying and selling of regulated CFD brokerages, payment and electronic money institutions, and crypto exchanges. Such regulated entities are licensed to operate in different jurisdictions around the world. The successful acquisition of this FCA regulated Authorised EMI was largely due to the prompt action of both the acquirer’s and the seller’s internal and external teams. Additionally, our Managing Director, Nikolas Xenofontos, who leads our M&A team at SALVUS, guided both the buyer’s and the seller’s teams which was a collaborative effort and helped seal the change of ownership.
