The role requires for someone that enjoys variety and is a methodical planner. We will need you to be naturally thorough in all you do, using your own judgment to highlight or escalate significant findings. As you will be responsible for producing Accounting and Financial reports among other things, attention to detail must be one of your most crucial characteristics.
The role requires combination of skills, for preparing accounting records and bookkeeping entries for our group entities. Additionally, within this role, you will have the opportunity to understand how accounting records are used for our clients’ (regulated entities) and on supporting them maintaining their regulatory capital obligations.
Being a team player with an eye for detail and having great organisational skills to prioritise and meet deadlines is what will help you succeed and be effective in this role.
Job Description
- Prepare accounting entries, invoicing and manage the bookkeeping of all the entities of the group,
- Prepare and submit VAT returns,
- Prepare and submit VIES returns,
- Perform Bank Reconciliations,
- Liaise with Auditors for the preparation of the statutory financial statements of all entities of the group,
- Assisting with Client Onboarding and facilitating with Client Agreements and KYC requirements,
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Forecasts of clients’ applications,
- Assist in the preparation of clients’ Prudential Supervision Forms 165 as per the Investment Firm Regulation,
- Assist in the preparation of the clients’ Annual Risk Management Report, the Annual Disclosure & Market Discipline (Pillar III) report, and the Internal Capital Adequacy Risk Assessment Process (ICARA), along with conducting relevant stress tests based on tailor-made methodologies and models to the client risk profile.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
- ACA/ACCA qualification is considered an advantage.
- Excellent writing skills and use of English language.
- 1+ years of professional experience in a Finance function will be considered an advantage.
