SALVUS at iFX EXPO Asia 2026 in Hong Kong

SALVUS participated in iFX EXPO Asia 2026, held on 7–9 October 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together professionals from across online trading, fintech, payments and financial services.

Throughout the event, the SALVUS team welcomed industry professionals, clients and new connections at Booth 35, with discussions covering licensing, regulatory compliance, risk management, internal audit, market entry and the growing impact of technology and artificial intelligence on regulated financial services.

A key highlight of SALVUS’ participation was the involvement of Evdokia Pitsillidou, Global Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, and Nikolas Xenofontos, Managing Director at SALVUS, in two industry round-table discussions addressing emerging trends and challenges within the financial services sector.

Evdokia participated in a round-table discussion on the practical adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the financial services industry. The discussion explored how AI can support compliance professionals in their daily work, particularly in the preparation and review of compliance manuals, streamlining compliance processes and improving operational efficiency. At the same time, Evdokia highlighted the risks associated with overreliance on AI-generated outputs, emphasizing the importance of professional judgement, accuracy and human oversight to ensure that compliance work remains reliable and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Separately, Nikolas, participated in the round table titled “Acquisition – Pay Per Client”, focusing on client acquisition strategies and evolving business models within the financial services industry. The discussion addressed approaches to attracting and acquiring clients in an increasingly competitive market. A part of the discussion that was lively and overlapped with the AI adoption round-table theme, were the costs, savings and risks from utilising AI to augment client acquisition

Beyond the conference programme, iFX EXPO Asia provided SALVUS with an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections across the international financial services sector. The discussions highlighted the importance of aligning regulatory requirements, technological innovation and commercial strategies to support sustainable business growth.

SALVUS continues to support regulated and prospective regulated firms across international markets with licensing, regulatory compliance, risk management, internal audit, M&A and market-entry services.
