C725 – Resubmission of Prudential Reporting Form for Q1 2025

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has released Circular C725 addressed to all Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs). This new circular follows up on Circular C719, which introduced changes to the submission procedures of prudential reporting via the CySEC XBRL Portal.

According to Circular C725, all CIFs that submitted their prudential forms for the reference date of 31 March 2025 are now required to resubmit these reports in XBRL format through the CySEC XBRL Portal. The circular places particular emphasis on Class 2 CIFs, which are explicitly called upon to ensure timely resubmission.

CySEC has set a firm deadline for compliance:

“All Class 2 CIFs must complete the resubmission of their prudential reporting by Thursday, 25 September 2025, at the latest.”
