On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Manager business athlete™ for a full-time role based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Role Description

The successful candidate for the role will be an experienced professional and an integral part of the Senior Management at a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF). The Senior Manager will directly report to the CEO of the Company and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. Further, the position requires a professional with the competence to effectively manage relevant departments and help meet the CIF’s objectives.

Duties & responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the successful Senior Manager are highlighted below:

• Sets incentives for workers, appraises the efficiency of departments, and creates strategic plans for the business based on company goals
• Collaborates with people higher up in the corporate structure and with those they supervise to achieve the goals of the CIF.
• Budgeting resources toward marketing, supplies, equipment, and hiring
• Ensures that the Company complies with its legal obligations
• Reviews the effectiveness of policies, arrangements, and procedures
• Receives on a frequent basis, at least annually, written reports over the activities of Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management and decides along with the BoD the actions which need to be taken so that for the Company to be in a state of compliance with the requirements of its CIF authorisation
• Reviews the activities of departments to address any deficiencies
• Presents to the Board of Directors issues that need to be discussed and resolved
• Ensures the oversight of the performance of the Back Office Department (Payments and Onboarding), Marketing Department, Sales Department, Investment Research, and Investment Advice departments, in accordance with the requirements set in the applicable legal framework.
• Ensures responsibility for the development and maintenance of the Company’s business model
• Be a member of the Risk Management Committee
• Be a member of the 4-eyes
